The hansgrohe Ecostat 1001 is a premium thermostatic mixer designed for exposed wall-mounted installation in both showers and baths. It is widely regarded as an "uncomplicated choice" for bathroom renovations because it fits existing standard S-connections, making it a straightforward replacement for older valves.
SafetyStop at 40°C to prevent accidental scalding, the temperature control locks at 40°C. You must intentionally press a safety button to select hotter water.
The internal thermostat cartridge reacts instantly to changes in water pressure, ensuring your shower temperature remains stable even if someone else in the house turns on a tap.
